How much does it cost

Nothing at all is required — you’re always welcome to attend for free.

But I do want to be honest: Social Photography can only keep growing with a little help. The ongoing costs for equipment, materials, and the website are all things I personally cover to keep this community running.

There’s absolutely no obligation to donate, yet any contribution you’re able to make genuinely makes a difference. Every pound raised goes straight back into the group — helping me run more studio days, put on educational workshops, and keep creating a space where anyone can come to learn, shoot, and feel part of something.

If you’re in a position to give, even a small amount helps keep this alive and moving forward.

    I have done a couple of photo walks with Dan around Cambridge. His enthusiasm for photography is infectious and that results in a really enjoyable and informative couple of hours. I would thoroughly recommend Social Photography.

    A nice mixture of informal and yet structured. The tips for starting point composition / settings was really useful, and in the style that meant we could also experiment and bring our own take on it. Gave me a taste for subject material on which I can build. Also was nice to chat photography with like minded people in a relaxed setting, there was no competition or rivalry, everyone trying to help each other.
